Tapiola library collaboration with high schools

Registration for spring book tips, workshops and author events will begin on January 10, 2020 at 7am. If your class has been on a guided library visit during the fall of 2019, you must register after January 24, 2020. We want to give priority to classes that have not yet entered.

Our full range for comprehensive schools (eg workshops, library bus visits to schools, author visits) can be found at kulps.espoonkirjastot.fi . Further down this page you can sign up for book tips and information mining tutorials.

Book Tips

The purpose of the book tip is to encourage young people to take hold of a book and to encourage them to read. In the tip, we introduce fiction, non-fiction, or both. We can also focus on a specific type of literature or theme. For example, tips that have been made include nonfiction books, youth books, biographies, war books, and genre books. The tip pack is assembled according to the teacher's wishes.

Information Acquisition Guidance

The purpose of the Information Acquisition Guidance is to support students in the preparation of presentations, essays and group work. The guidance concentrates on information search, with a focus on Helmet Information Search and Google Search, or a broader perspective can be taken on source criticism and copyright. The guidance is designed together with the teacher to be appropriate for the subject.
