OverDrive digital magazines to be retired on 4 March 2022 and Flipster on 1 July 2022

The number of Helmet library’s foreign digital magazine services will be reduced for the time being. In recent years, the customers of Helmet library in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area have had access to several foreign magazine services. Of these, the magazines in OverDrive have been available for borrowing for the past year, but the collection will no longer be renewed and its availability in the Helmet e-library will end on 4 March 2022.

The Flipster magazine service will also leave the Helmet e-library, but only as of 1 July 2022.

Customers can continue to read foreign digital magazines in the PressReader service. PressReader includes more than 7,000 magazines and is the most widely used and extensive of our digital magazine services.
