Kuutio
Kuutio is located on the second floor of Oodi and can be rented. Kuutio is a glass-walled space of 90 square meters. The space is currently mainly used as a meeting room and training facility. The space is equipped with two screens and projectors.
The digital smart walls in the space are in their testing phase and cannot be used by customers at this time.
By reserving Kuutio you agree to comply with the rules for the facility. If necessary, the library has the right, at its discretion, to disallow the lessee from entering the rented facilities or to interrupt an event held in the rented facilities, if it comes to light that the rules are being or have been violated. How many people can fit inside the facility and what type of furniture can be brought there?
Kuutio can accommodate up to 50 people in rows of seats. You can also arrange for tables, but this brings the number of possible attendees down.
The tables are black and square.
All furniture arrangements must be agreed upon no later than two weeks prior to the event by email: oodi.tilat@hel.fi. We will not carry out any desired changes that we are notified of after this time.
Optional additional furniture that can be delivered by agreement:
- Coat racks (1–5)
- High table (1)
- Bar stools (1–2)
- Low tables (1–3)
What technology is the facility equipped with?
Speech: 1–2 wireless microphones are available for the space.
Image: The facility is equipped with two big screens and video projectors, to which you can connect your own device. We use HDMI cables that are available in the facility upon agreement. Please make sure to bring your own connectors that are compatible with our equipment.
Audio: After connecting your device to the HDMI cable you will be able to amplify the audio from your device through the sound projection equipment in the space.
At the start of the facility reservation, a member of Oodi’s technical staff will provide advice and guidance on the use of the facility’s audiovisual technology.
All prior arrangements for the event must be made within the reserved time frame. All technical arrangements must be agreed upon no later than two weeks prior to the event by email to oodi.tilat@hel.fi.
Can catering services be ordered for the facility?
Catering services are available for Kuutio from Oodi’s restaurant. Remember to make sure that your desired furniture arrangement fits the catering.
