Vantaa libraries to have shortened opening hours in the fall

The opening hours of Vantaa libraries will be shortened as of August 10. On Fridays, most libraries will stay open until 16:00, and on Sundays, the libraries will be closed.

On weekday mornings from 8:00 to 9:00, customers can independently use the libraries according to the libraries’ instructions. Staff will be present all through the opening hours but will serve the customers on weekday mornings as of 9:00. For the time being using the libraries without any staff present is not possible because of the coronavirus epidemic.
