Theater for toddlers: The Ball

Pipu the ball visited our library the other day. Pipu was the main character in a play aimed at toddlers, and he was very popular among our youngest customers.

Anne Lihavainen from puppet theatre Ofelia presented the play. In the story, Pipu travels the red road, meets the yellow children of the moon and is fascinated by the exciting blue world. When Pipu meets Green, he finds the answer to the question "Who am I, really?"

Close to 40 children and almost as many adults showed up to watch the play. Since Pipu speaks very few words, the show suited everyone regardless of language.

Anne Lihavainen did did the acting, as well as the screenplay, puppets and scenography. Bojan Baric was responsible for directing, music and sound.
