Länsimäki library's opening hours change on January 9, 2023.

As of January 9, the library will be open as follows:

Mon-Tue: 12:00-19:00

Wed-Fri: 9:00-16:00

Self-service library:

Mon-Tue: 7:00-12:00

Wed-Thurs: 7:00-9:00 and 16:00-18:00

Fri: 7:00-9:00

Sat: 7:00-15:00

Sun: 7:00-15:00

What is a self-service library?

A self-service library is a library with a system that allows clients to use the library by themselves. You can use these libraries also when no staff members are present.

Clients can access a self-service library during self-service hours by entering their library card and PIN in the reader situated on the library's outdoor. You can, for instance, borrow and return items, pick up your holds, and read the self-service libraries’ materials. You can also access a self-service library with the library card on your Taskukirjasto app.
