The rainbow shelf (sateenkaarihylly) refers to a shelf in the library's premises, where there are loanable materials about sexual and gender minorities. Its purpose is to improve the equality and discoverability of rainbow materials in libraries. Homophobic and transphobic material does not belong on the rainbow shelf.
On the rainbow shelves of the Martinlaakso library, you can find material in Finnish, Swedish and Russian. The rainbow shelf for adults and youth is located in the adult department. Children's rainbow shelf in the children's section. Rainbow literature can also be found among other material.
Audiobooks in the Celia library are intended for people with various challenges with reading. As an online customer, you can use your device to listen to any of the 40,000 audiobooks in the library collection, and as a CD club customer audiobooks will be delivered to you at home every month. You will need a picture ID for registration. People under the age of 15 need a guarantor.

You will need a library card for printing, photocopying, and scanning documents. The library card makes it easy for you to register for the printing system. You only need to register once, and your identifiers will be valid until further notice. The employees help you when required.
You can photocopy up to 20 black-and-white or two color sheets per day. Printing and copying are free of charge.
You can only print from library computers. It is not possible to print using your own device.
Book tips, story hours, library tours and other special services must be booked in advance by contacting the library.
Customers have the use of a free-of-charge wireless network (Vantaa Avoin).
