The policy applies to all Espoo libraries, cultural houses, the KAMU Espoo City Museum and the concerts of the City Orchestra Tapiola Sinfonietta.
The Baltic Sea is celebrated in Välkky and other libraries of Espoo on 30.-31.8. The activity bus Välkky is transformed into The Baltic Sea bus and circles the beaches and water spots of Espoo. In Välkky you can familiarise yourself with the life of a fish by watching science theatre, participate in a workshop and get reading tips.
Lukulumo - a multilingual library service In the Lukulumo application, you can find over 520 Finnish language books, many of which you can listen to in over 50 different languages. Lukulumo is available in every Espoo library.

Customer files and projects will be deleted from Espoo City Library studio computers on December 1st 2021 In the future, customers must save their projects on their own devices. Please save your projects on your personal storage, for example USB stick or external hard drive before December 1st 2021.
A fee will be charged for uncollected reservations Helmet libraries will start charging customers a fee of €1 for reservations that have not been picked up or cancelled by the last pick-up date. Reserving materials will continue to be free of charge. The uncollected reservation fee will be introduced 1 June 2021.
Pick up of reserved materials has changed in Espoo city libraries From now on your reservations will have an identifying number telling the place in the reservation shelf. You can find the reservation number from the reservation notification sent to you.
