Words That Fly: workshops
Artist Anastasia Artemeva invites you to create fabric costumes with wings.
Together we will come up with images of flying characters and discuss what wings are, what they help to do and what stories happen to their owners. We will learn proverbs from Russian and Finnish and explore how language and art can work together. Сhildren are invited to wear the costumes for the ice disco, which will take place on December 18 at the Kauniainen Ice Hall after theice performance Animals in Search of Wings.
Workshops will be held on Saturdays November 27, December 4 and 11 according to the following schedule:
10.00 - 11.30: for children 6-8 years old
11.30 - 13.00: for children 9-13 years old
Maximum number of participants in each master class is 12 people.
Venue: Sello Library Makerspace.
