The library has many board  games available. Some of them you can borrow and others can be played at the library.

The book exchange shelf is  intended for our customers’ own books. Please only bring books that are in good condition.

Cafe Molli is located in the cultural center, on the same floor as the library. There are more cafes next door in the nearby shopping center Ainoa.

All common payment cards accepted. Contactless payment option also available. No cash accepted.

Yamaha CLP-470 digital piano with space for two headphones (play alone or with a friend!), wooden keyboard, number of polyphony: 256, transpose and tuning, and 28 instrument sounds. Headphones are available at the information desk. Reservations: varaamo.espoo.fi.

Dogs are allowed in public areas.  Dogs are not allowed in meeting rooms or music rooms.

Celia’s services are intended  for people who have difficulty reading printed texts due to a disability, illness or other similar reasons. You can sign up as a customer at the customer service point.

You can pick up reserved books from the reservation shelves in the lobby and borrow them using the self-service machine.

You can print colour and  black-and-white documents in sizes A4 and A3. You can also print documents through your own device. The price for printing is EUR 0.20 per page.

The library has a lot of material and other services for children.

Choose “Espoo_asiakas” from the list of networks and click “Hyväksy” to accept the term agreement. No sign in is needed.

3D printers: Ultimaker 2+ and Ultimaker 3.

Customer workstations are equipped with internet connection and Microsoft Office software as well as printer connection. The workstations may be used without booking. You can also use portable computers.

You can destroy your confidential documents safely with the paper shredder.

You may scan pdf or image files with our multi-function printers. USB storage device is needed. Also films and slides can be scanned with a flatbed scanner.

Option to use the self check-out and return machines for checking out and returning material.

You are welcome to borrow tools from the Tapiola Library! The tools are borrowed from the library workshop. The loan period is 2 weeks. Tools cannot be booked, but availability can be checked with Helmet. The exhibition space is located in library's reading room. There is a wall for displaying the work, as well as lockable glass cabinet (booked separately).

As we don’t strive for total silence in Tapiola Library there are many places in the library where you can work in a group: for example in the middle space or in the Makerspace.

Tapiola Library’s meeting room can accommodate approximately 10 people. Access to the free wireless client network of the City of Espoo is available. Information point can provide a laptop for loan. Reservations: varaamo.espoo.fi.

Available for customers of 15 years of age or over who own a Helmet library card and have basic IT knowledge. You will receive a user ID and a password. Working in the studio is independent. Reservations: varaamo.espoo.fi.

Tapiola Library’s Paja offers new activities to do in the library. We are giving you an opportunity to try 3D printers, 3D scanner, vinyl cutter, heat press, sewing, overlock and  paper cutter and shredder etc.

The Slow area in the middle of Tapiola Library is used as a place for events for approximately 30 people. Audio visual equipment can be brought into the space
